Anansi Tales for the Holidays is a mixture of African, Caribbean, and African American folklore presented in interactive theatre, storytelling, puppetry, and a children's mask workshop.
Anansi Tales for the Holidays is a mixture of African, Caribbean, and African American folklore presented in interactive theatre, storytelling, and puppetry.
Folktales are stories that are traditionally passed from generation to generation orally to teach a lesson, gain insight on specific situations or just to pass the time.
Anansi shares these tales with the whole family making the holiday season a time of communal sharing.
CHILDREN'S MASK/PUPPETRY WORKSHOP (AGES 4-12)
Don't miss our Children's Workshop on Saturday, 1/5/ 2019 from 12:30:- 2:30pm. Kids will then become part of the afternoon or evening shows as one of the animals in the forest with the mask or puppet made in the workshop.
