A woman waits out a tornado in her basement, but there is more than just a storm on her mind...

Angela runs into her basement to wait for a tornado to pass by. As she rides out the storm, she tells her story - her job, growing up with her Judy Garland-loving mother, and her belief in the power of chance. As her story goes on, there may be more to Angela than just a tornado coming...something more dangerous may be waiting for her too, and she will need to gather all of her strength to face it head on... 

Aspie Works presents Lauren Gunderson's powerful solo show NATURAL SHOCKS at the MuCCC - after first presenting it as a staged reading in April 2018. Director Justin Rielly and actor Summer Sattora (Angela) reprise their roles from the reading for this full production.  

The show will be presented at the MuCCC on February 27, 28 and 29 at 7:30pm, with a matinee scheduled for 2pm on February 29.

$10 online advance, $12 day of show

Founded by playwright-performer Justin Rielly in August 2013, Aspie Works is a theatrical company presenting quality and affordable theater in the Rochester community. 

Since its inception, Aspie Works has presented over two dozen full productions and readings, from original projects to plays by authors as varied as Shakespeare, Wallace Shawn, Spalding Gray and Lauren Gunderson.
