Aspie Works brings Spalding Gray's legendary monologue back to the stage for a special encore run.

In 1983, actor-monologist Spalding Gray traveled to Thailand to play the American ambassador's aide in the Vietnam War drama THE KILLING FIELDS. He later used his experiences there - along with stories about Cambodia, the Khmer Rouge, and his search for "the perfect moment" - to create what would become his defining monologue, SWIMMING TO CAMBODIA. It was later adapted as a feature film in 1987.   Aspie Works first presented this show (with the script adaptation by Gray's widow Kathleen Russo) at the 2015 Rochester Fringe Festival; it was brought back in December 2015, with Russo in attendance.   To mark what would have been Spalding Gray's 80th birthday (on June 5), Aspie Works brings SWIMMING TO CAMBODIA back for a special encore run - featuring Aspie Works founder Justin Rielly.
