Mask Work Improv Workshops at MuCCC!

By Harold Taddy of The Velvet Noose

Tues, April 28 7:00 pm Wed, April 29 7:00 pm

Mask Improv class to inspire & guide you out of your head & into your body. Classes end with a GONG sound bath!

*Those who take both classes may be invited to join The Velvet Noose in performance onstage at the MuCCC for the MINOTAUR! experience on May 1st!

Harold Taddy is excited to present and share two workshops combing sound bath and mask work actor training. Therapeutic in practice, mask play reveals one to oneself and steadies presence both on and off stage. Studying the words of Jacques Lecoq, Sears A. Eldredge, and Keith Johnstone, and private workshopping with Master Mask Maker Jonathan Becker, Taddy is developing an approach that marries the inward qualities of supporting a mask to that of the neutral state provided by gong sound bath meditation.

**Those who take both classes may be invited to join The Velvet Noose in performance onstage at the MuCCC for the MINOTAUR! experience on May 1st!

“Apply your mind attentively to what is said in conversation; and enter deeply into what is done, and into those who do it.” -Marcus Aurelius
