Dances at MuCCC returns for its sixth year, offering ten nights of contemporary dance performance by local choreographers, dance artists and companies, as well as regional and visiting artists.

This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by the Genesee Valley Council on the Arts.

Support is also provided by the Gouvernet Arts Fund at the Rochester Area Community Foundation.

Dances at MuCCC debuted in 2014 with 2 nights of performance and 8 choreographers. Since then the festival has rapidly expanded, and in 2018 there were 10 nights of performance including the work the 36 choreographers and 77 performers. City Newspaper has described Dances at MuCCC as “a summer arts highlight” and “intriguing performances…highlighting various mediums within dance.”
