The Gibbs sisters and their husbands have lived next door to each other harmoniously for most of their adult lives. Trouble brews, though, when Ida Gibb’s perpetually-shy son Homer finally pops the questions to his long-suffering fiancé. Can the bonds of family survive long-buried secrets finally coming to the surface? Paul Osborn’s charming comedy about sisterhood and small-town American life, has been revived twice on Broadway to great acclaim since its debut in 1938 and is a true American classic.
