Shakespeare's early comic farce involving mistaken identities.

The Comedy of Errors, possibly Shakespeare's earliest play, is in the genre of dramatic farce. Twin brothers, separated as children, AND twin servants to each, separated as children, are brought together in a case of mistaken identities doubled, with hilarious result!

This experienced troupe of Shakespearean players performs the play in half masks created specifically for this project against the colorful backdrop of the Greek town of Ephesus. Directed by Rochester theater veteran, John Gaehring and produced by James Landers, in conjunction with the Rochester Community Players Shakespeare Program.
